It’s that time of the month again, time to beckon upon another entrepreneur! Here’s a bonus, this time we have two entrepreneurs, who are a couple in real life too! So let’s gather around, learn, discuss, compare notes and get to know each other, this Second Saturday of November! Your participation is important and it matters, so here’s personally inviting you.

This month we have:

Vinay & Shalini Mehta, Founder of Pole Vault Technologies. Here is more about the company and the founders:

PoleVault

PoleVault Technologies Pvt Ltd started in Nov 2005, is a venture focusing on the Software Product development and Engineering Services.

Software Division: we have Data Integration and BI product for SMEs, and particularly focus the needs of those who do not want to implement an ERP application. Apart from this, we have developed component technologies for Generic Data Transformation framework, Vehicle Tracking Systems and have competence to develop product architectures.

In the Engineering Services, the mechanical and structural designs of Railway plants, hydro power projects, compressed air and other utility piping in industrial plants are handled. Engineering majors from France and India are our customers. Some of the Engineering customers are L&T, Parker-Legris, IRCON, Vodafone, and GTL Infrastructure.

PoleVault focuses to maximize productivity of every person by blending their whole to reach higher goal.

Vinay Mehta – Co-founder

Graduated from Punjab Engineering College (Civil Engg) in 1988, did masters with dissertation in AI and developed an Expert System shell. Thereafter, started developing a Centre of Excellence along with one of his faculty in the College itself, to handle higher computational applications and industry projects. Vinay dedicated eleven years to develop the Centre from a scratch and made it a self-sustaining venture within a government setup. Thereafter Vinay had a four plus years stint at Quark and was its Director R&D for Content Management and also Head of IT Services for a year.

Shalini Mehta – Co-founder

A multi-faceted consultant and has wide experience with IT training institutions. She is Delhi University Graduate and a part-time Masters Diploma holder in Business Management from SIMS. She has been Centre Manager of various IT training institutes in Chandigarh. She is expert at managing employee’s personal and professional growth. She is a mentor for people as to how they can realize their full potential.

Apart from PoleVault, both Shalini and Vinay run a charitable organization called God’s Child Foundation to help people through personal counseling and lecture sessions, for people to become better in their life. They also pen a booklet “NUPUR” twice a year containing articles of their daily experiences to spread the confidence of God in life.

After the success of its first Startup event in Bangalore, Xtreme Startups team is excited to invite you to the 2nd edition of Startup Morning on 27th June, 2009 at IIMB Campus. The videos of the previous edition can be viewed at Part I, Part II.

“Start-up Morning/Evening” is organized under the Xtreme Startups banner. It is a non-profit initiative to support & promote entrepreneurship.
